When you exhaust your MyCard credit limit¹, this allows you to continue making purchases using your account balance. As long as you have the 1 or 2 days payment method, depending on what you have chosen, and you have enough balance in your account.

What do you need to do to continue making purchases?

If you change the card payment method to 1 or 2 days, you will be able to continue making purchases beyond the credit limit of the card: once you have reached your card limit, you can continue to make purchases up to €3,000 every 1 or 2 days, depending on the payment method you have chosen, provided you have sufficient funds in your linked CaixaBank account to cover your outstanding balance.

How do I change my credit card payment method to 2 days?

Log in to CaixaBankNow with your username and password.

If you are on the website:
Go to My Cards, go to menu and click "Customise payment method":

If you are on the app:
Go to Cards and tap in "Customise payment method".

Choose the frequency with which you want to settle the debt. Choose "Pay in full every 1 day" or "Pay in full every 2 days" to extend your credit limit using your account balance.

Confirm the transaction.
