Since September, with the entry into force of the new European Payment Services Directive (PSD2), CaixaBank has added extra security to all your banking operations.
It is important that you remember your CaixaBankNow password (PIN) in order to confirm your identity and authorise certain payments.
Confirm your identity
Every time you connect from a new device, we will ask you to confirm your identity.
How? It's easy! You will only need to verify your CaixaBankNow login password with your usual way of signing: CaixaBank Sign, coordinates card or SMS.
We are enhancing the protection of your payments
If you sign your payments with CaixaBank Sign, in certain operations we will ask you for your CaixaBankNow password (PIN) to open the CaixaBank Sign app and confirm the operation.
If you sign your payments with the coordinates card, in some operations we will send you an additional confirmation SMS as up until now.
To send you this code, we need to know your phone number. You can check and update your phone number at CaixaBankNow > Personal settings or at your branch.
